 Established in 1883, Catholic Order of Foresters (COF) is a not-for-profit fraternal benefit insurance organization with more than 140,000 members nationwide. Operations are conducted through 300 agents in 31 states and the District of Columbia. With more than $2.6 billion of life insurance in the force, COF ranks among the top ten fraternal life insurance societies in the United States. Holy Trinity Court #1054, Winsted, was organized on December 17, 1899 by Deputy High Chief Ranger L.A. Klock. The court started out with 28 charter members. Our court's big fund raiser each year is the Matching Funds chicken dinner on Palm Sunday at the Blue Note ballroom. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm.
