There are three ways you can contact me. One is through your child's homework notebook. I sign these each day. A second way is by e-mail. I check e-mails before and after school and will return your message then. You may also call me at school. Leave a message if I am unavailable when you call and I will return your call as soon as possible.

The students will be working with the theme mysteries this week. Their first story is the Case of the Blurry Board. Their main story is The Mystery of the Missing Lunch. A third story is Putting Together the Pieces of the Puzzle. Vocab words are allergies, assignments, consideration, consume, suspicious, evidence, accuse.

The students will be working with sentences, types of sentences, and punctuation. They will also work on writing about how they solved a problem. |

Study your math facts. It will especially be important when working with multiplication and division. We'll work on it in class. This week we'll work with 2s. The students will begin the week with learning about place value. Next they'll learn about ordinal numbers. After that they'll have a review of subtraction. They'll finish the week writing numbers through 99.

The students will begin the week learning about process skills. First, they'll do an activity on estimating and measuring. After that, they'll do an activity on collecting data. |

The students will begin learning about maps, map symbols,map title and key,cardinal directions, and a compass rose. They'll also learn what a locator is. |

The students will begin with Unit 1 Chapter 4 where they will learn about the Annunciation and the rosary. They should study Unit 1 chapter 4 for a test on Wednesday- study the highlighted areas. Fourth grade should also review the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. |
